Prime Edition: Installing a fresh copy

First download the latest version of the server.


Unzip the downloaded file cftp-prime.zip into a directory of your choice. This will create coloradoftp-prime sub-directory, you may rename it if you don't like the name and move it anywhere you want. This sub-directory is the home of your FTP server.


That is it, a fresh ColoradoFTP Prime Edition server is installed but you can't use it until it is properly configured. You don't have to configure everything, just:

  • Remote and local IP addresses
  • Command port
  • Data ports

Please configure your server now.
