Choosing your FTP server

At the moment of this writing 3 editions of ColoradoFTP server available:
Generic Bundle is a plain engine where you have to install all the plug-ins to make it workable. Selecting Generic Bundle will provide you with sane configuration, you install and configure just the plug-ins you want.
Prime Edition runs on top of Generic Bundle and features the most important/useful plug-ins. You can install additional plug-ins, remove or reconfigure pre-installed plug-ins and do the same things you would with the Generic Bundle. Selecting this edition will merely save you configuration time. More than that, whenever a newer version of the Prime Edition edition becomes available it contains updates for the pre-installed plug-ins.
Beta Edition is almost the same as the Prime Edition. This build is mounted to an in-memory file system and should be used as an underlying FTP server in Java tests.
I would recommend to install the Prime Edition to ease the configuration pain.
